Three New Species of Hilara Meigen (Diptera: Empididae) from Central and Northeastern Turkey

dc.description.abstractThree new species, Hilara elifae Ciftci & D. Ciftci sp. nov. (Hilara interstincta-group), Hilara ardahanensis Ciftci & Can sp. nov. (Hilara abdominalis-group) and Hilara hasbenlii Ciftci sp. nov. (Hilara maura-group) are described from central (Sivas province) and northeastern (Ardahan province) Turkey. Male and female specimens of new species are described and male genitalia and forelegs are illustrated. The relationships between the new species and related species are compared.
