Özet
Siirt ili Kurtalan ilçesi Yunuslar köyü ekolojisinde 5 yıllık Dikensiz Chester Böğürtlen çeşidine ait fenolojik gözlemler, morfolojik özellikler, pomolojik gözlemler bakılmıştır. Kimyasal analizler de ise meyvelerin antosiyanin içeriği, toplam fenolik madde miktarı, antioksidan kapasitesi ve organik asit içerikleri belirlenmiştir.. Araştırma ile yapılan gözlem ve analizler sonucunda Dikensiz Chester böğürtlen çeşidin gerek bölgeye adaptasyonu, gerek yüksek verim değerleri bakımından, gerekse de sahip olduğu iyi meyve özellikleri ile böğürtlen yetiştiriciliği yapılan diğer bölgeler ile benzer veriler gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Böylelikle Dikensiz Chester böğürtlen çeşidinin yörede yetiştiriciliğinin teşvik edilmesinin olumlu olacağı kanaatine varılmıştır.
Phenological observations, morphological characteristics and pomological observations of the 5-year-old Thorn-free Chester Blackberry cultivar were examined in the ecology of Yunuslar village in Kurtalan district of Siirt province. In chemical analyses, anthocyanin content, total amount of phenolic substances, antioxidant capacity and organic acid contents of fruits were determined.. As a result of observations and analyzes conducted with the research, it was found that the thorn-free Chester blackberry variety shows similar data as other blackberry-growing regions, both in terms of adaptation to the region, high yield values, and also with the good fruit properties it has. Thus, it was concluded that it would be positive to encourage the cultivation of the Thornless Chester blackberry variety in the region.
