dc.description.abstract5 amino-2,4-dichlorophenol-3,5 ditertbuthylsalisylaldimine-Mn(II) complex was synthesized via the wet chemical method. The Mn(II) complex, characterized by its structural and optical properties, has been used as a sensitizer in a dye-sensitized solar cell structure by growing on TiO2 coated on fluorine-doped tin oxide conductive glass substrate. The power conversion efficiency of the TiO2/Mn (II) complex structure was calculated by current density (J) versus voltage (V) measurement. The calculated power conversion efficiency (eta%) of TiO2/Mn(II) complex is %1.44. The obtained result shows that this device can be used as a promising sensitizer in solar cell application.
