Özet
In the method presented as a hybrid solution approach, it aims to facilitate the solution set offered by geographic information systems to force the selection of the most appropriate location with additional research. It tries to provide this convenience with multi-criteria decision making methods. In this study, which includes an application of the approach, the problem of solar power plant location selection is addressed. For the solution of this problem, real life data were obtained from the relevant institutions and geographic information systems analysis was performed with the Overlay Analysis analysis tool in ArcGIS software. The PROMETHEE method, which is selected as a multi-criteria decision making method, has been implemented with the promethee123 package of RStudio software. The results obtained as a result of the application provide a priority ranking for the selection of an installation site, its establishment as a business and its sustainability. The presented hybrid solution approach offers a more holistic approach by minimizing the data loss of the two-step solution search in the literature.
