Özet
This study was conducted to determine the phytophagous and beneficial species and appearance times of some important pests in nature in the apricot orchards of Malatya province, Turkey, from 2015 to 2016. For the samplings, branch cutting, visual examination, the impact method as applied to tree branches, fattening traps (of molasses and wine), and sexually attractive traps specific to the species were used. In addition, the cultivation method was used for pre-adult and parasitoid species. At the end of the study, 36 insects and 2 mites from phytophagous species and 17 beneficial insect species from general predators and parasitoids in the orchards were determined. Anarsia lineatella Zell. was found to be the main pest. Sphaerolecanium prunastri Boy., Lyristes plebejus Scop., Forficula auricularia L., Capnodis tenebrionis L., Scolytus rugulosus Muller, Hyalopterus pruni Geofry, Apodiphus amygdali Germ., Contarinia pruniflorum C. & R., and Tetranychus urticae Koch were found to be potential pests. Among the predatory species, Coccinella semptempunctata L., Adalia bipunctata L., Scymnus subvillosus Goeze, Nabis punctatus C., Episyrphus balteatus De Gee, Metasyrphus corollae Fab., and Chrysoperla carnea Stephens were found to be the most abundant in the orchards studied.
