dc.description.abstractÜniversiteler, toplumun ekonomik ve sosyal altyapısını oluşturan; ulusal düzeyde eğitim, öğretim, kültürel ve bilimsel düşünce kuruluşları gibi çeşitli işlevleri yerine getiren kurumlardır. Üniversite hedefleri arasında bilginin üretimi, korunması, iletilmesi ve yaygınlaştırılması yer alır. Üniversite eğitiminin amacı; bilgi çağında evrensel değerlere sahip, sorgulayan, akılcı ve bilimsel düşünen, üreten, geliştiren ve sorumlu etik değerleri koruyan bireyler yetiştirmektir. Çok partili sisteme geçişle birlikte yükseköğretimin ülke genelinde dengeli dağılımı temel ilkelerden biri olarak kabul edilmiş ve bu doğrultuda üniversitenin bulunduğu bölgeye sosyo-ekonomik katkılar başlamıştır. 1990'lı yıllardan bu tarafa araştırılmış ve incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı;Batman Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin sosyo-ekonomik özelliklerini, günlük alışkanlıklarını, belirli alanlardaki tutumlarını, çeşitli harcama kalemlerinin miktarını ve Batman Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin Batman iline yapmış oldukları katkıları ortaya çıkarmak; Batman ili esnafının ise üniversiteye ve üniversite öğrencilerine bakış açılarını açıklamaktır.Anket, Batman Üniversitesi Merkez Yerleşkesi ve Batı Raman Yerleşkesinde öğrenim gören 587 öğrenciye ve 450 Batman esnafına kapalı ve açık soru yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler SPSS.21 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Batman Üniversitesi ve Batman Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin Batman ili ekonomisine katkıları nicel olarak hesaplanmıştır.
dc.description.abstractUniversities are institutions that constitute the economic and social infrastructure of the society and fulfill various functions such as education, training, cultural and scientific think-tanks at the national level. The production, preservation, transmission and dissemination of knowledge rank among University goals. The aim of university education is to raise individuals who have universal values, question, think rationally and scientifically, produce, develop and protect responsible ethical values in the Information Age. With the transition to the multi-party system, the balanced distribution of higher education throughout the country has been accepted as one of the basic principles, and in this direction, socio-economic contributions have started to the region where the university is located. It has been researched and studied since the 1990s. The aim of this study is to reveal the socio-economic characteristics of Batman University students, their daily habits, their attitudes in certain areas, the amount of various expenditure items and the contributions of Batman University students to Batman province, and to explain the degree of perspective of Batman province shopkeepers towards university and university students. The survey was conducted using closed and open question method to 587 students studying in Batman University central campus and West Raman Campus and 450 Batman shopkeepers. The data obtained through the questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS.21 package program. As a result of the research, the contributions of Batman University and Batman University students to the economy of Batman province were calculated quantitatively.
