dc.description.abstractIn this study, it is aimed to reveal how students studying in the Faculty of Education perceive the concept of university. Case study design, qualitative research approach, was used in this study. The working group is comprised of students, a total of 85, studying in the Faculty of Education in Siirt University during 2014-2015 academic year. In this study, it is strived to reveal and analyze how the students in Faculty of Education construct the concept of ‘university’ in their mind through the use of a ‘Word Association Test’. The data obtained in this study were analyzed according to content analysis. Suggestions were made in accordance with the findings. © The Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology.
