dc.description.abstractIn this study, we studied the ceria supported Ni complexpreparation and using it as a catalyst in NaBH4 hydrolysis forH2 production. NaBH4 hydrolysis system was studied indifferent parameters, as concentration of Ni complex,concentration of NaBH4, concentration of NaOH, amount ofcatalyst and temperature. Additionally, catalyst wascharacterized by several analysis methods. Finally, the kineticcalculation of NaBH4 hydrolysis reaction was studied at 20 ?-50 ? the activation energy was found to be 27.581 kJmol-1. Theaim of this study is to emphasize that ceria support can be usedto increase the catalyst surface and to obtain the high hydrogengeneration activity through hydrolysis of NaBH4. Theexperimental results show that ceria supported Ni complex wasan effective catalyst in hydrolysis of NaBH4.
