dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile öğretmenlerin iş doyumu düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırma, ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini; Siirt merkez ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan 4220 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise evrenden, basit rastlantısal yöntemle belirlenen 437 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada "Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği" ve "İş Doyumu Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında toplanan verilerin analizinde istatistik paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma dahilinde güvenirlilik analizi, frekans tabloları, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, Anova, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre okul yöneticilerinin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile öğretmenlerin iş doyumu düzeylerinde; cinsiyet, medeni durum, görev durumu, mesleki kıdem ve yaş değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı fark yoktur. Öğretmenlerin okuldaki çalışma süresi ve görev yapılan kademe değişkenlerine göre dışsal doyum düzeylerinde anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğretmen algılarına göre öğretmenlerin kendi okul müdürlerinin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile kendi iş doyumları arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenler algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin duygusal zekâ düzeyi, öğretmenlerin iş doyumunun geneli üzerinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı etkiye sahip olduğu bulgulanmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThis research is a relational survey model conducted to examine the relationship between school administrators' emotional intelligence levels and teachers' job satisfaction levels according to teacher perceptions. The population of the research consists of 4220 teachers working in Siirt central primary, secondary and high schools. The sample of the study consists of 437 teachers determined by simple random method from the universe. Of the 520 scales distributed, 437 were found to be suitable for analysis. "Emotional Intelligence Scale" and "Job Satisfaction Scale" were used in the research. SPSS was used in the analysis of the data collected within the scope of the research. Reliability analysis, frequency tables, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analyzes were applied for the study. According to the research findings, there is no significant difference between school administrators' emotional intelligence levels and teachers' job satisfaction levels in terms of gender, marital status, job status, professional seniority and age. In addition, it has been determined that there is a positive and moderately significant relationship between teachers' perceptions of emotional intelligence from school administrators and teachers' job satisfaction levels. It was found that teachers' perceptions of school administrators' emotional intelligence level had a significant predictive effect on job satisfaction in general.
