dc.description.abstractBu araştırma, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı devlet okullarında okutulan 3. ve 4. sınıf matematik ders kitaplarındaki soruların MATH taksonomisi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesini ve öğretmenlerin bu ders kitapları hakkındaki görüşlerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında kullanılan 3. ve 4. sınıf matematik ders kitapları ile 22 üçüncü sınıf ve 22 dördüncü sınıf öğretmeninden oluşan bir çalışma grubunu kapsamaktadır. Veriler, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ve ders kitapları üzerinden toplanmıştır. Araştırmada doküman analizi ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formlarından elde edilen verilerin analizi için MAXQDA 24 programı kullanılarak içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, her iki ders kitabında yer alan soruların %75'ten fazlasının A grubuna ait olduğunu, B ve C grubundaki soruların oranının ise %25'in altında kaldığını göstermektedir. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre hem üçüncü hem de dördüncü sınıf öğretmenlerinin çoğu ders kitaplarını etkin bir şekilde kullanmamakta, daha çok alıştırma ve değerlendirme çalışmaları için ders kitaplarını tercih etmektedir. Öğretmenler, ders kitaplarının en çok alıştırma ve değerlendirme çalışmaları açısından zayıf olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Bunun yanında görsel ve biçimsel tasarım açısından zayıf yönleri olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Ayrıca, öğretmenlerin büyük bir kısmı, ders kitaplarındaki alıştırma ve değerlendirme sorularının yetersizliği nedeniyle ek kaynaklara ihtiyaç duyduklarını ifade etmişlerdir.
dc.description.abstractThis research aims to evaluate the questions in the 3rd and 4th grade mathematics textbooks used in state primary schools according to the MATH taxonomy and to examine teachers' opinions on these textbooks. In the research, a case study design from qualitative research methods was used The research includes the 3rd and 4th grade mathematics textbooks used in the 2023-2024 academic year and a working group consisting of 22 third-grade and 22 fourth-grade teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured interview forms and textbooks. Document analysis and content analysis were conducted using the MAXQDA 24 program to analyze the data obtained from semi-structured interview forms and textbooks. The research results show that more than 75% of the questions in both textbooks belong to Group A, while the proportion of questions in Groups B and C is less than 25%. According to the teachers' opinions, most third and fourth-grade teachers do not use the textbooks effectively and primarily use them for practice and assessment activities. Teachers have indicated that the textbooks are particularly weak in terms of exercises and assessment activities. Additionally, they have noted deficiencies in the visual and formal design of the textbooks. Furthermore, a significant number of teachers have expressed the need for supplementary resources due to the insufficiency of exercises and assessment questions in the textbooks
