Özet
In recent years, image processing applications have been widely used in many different fields (military, defense, industry, manufacturing, quality control, etc.) both academically and industrially. Especially recently, it has been determined in the literature review and different studies that image processing applications are widely used in terms of safety and health. In terms of security, it has been seen from the statistical information that applications such as license plate recognition, person recognition, and face recognition give many useful results. In addition, it has been observed that there are applications in image processing for obtaining preliminary diagnosis-preliminary information in terms of health. In this study, a study focusing on the face recognition area was carried out in image processing applications. The usage areas of face recognition systems are increasing in parallel with the development of image processing technologies and machine learning. Face recognition algorithms which are used in security systems are also used in industry, health and industrial sectors. This study was realized take advantage of Haar-cascade classification feature which is implement to find objects on the image. The haar-cascade feature had trained many times and it knows shape of face. Also in this work, OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) library which be open source library was preferred. This system, which detects the faces in the image taken with the Raspberry Pi camera module and encloses faces in a frame, finally records images of faces which is detected. As a result, a study was carried out to assist many sectors, especially security systems.
