dc.description.abstractBu tezin amacı, Siirt Üniversitesi'nin Siirt şehrine yapmış olduğu sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik katkıların neler olduğunu örnekler vererek araştırmaktır. Bu araştırma yapılırken üniversitenin bir şehre yapmış olduğu katkıyı daha iyi anlayabilmek için öncelikle üniversitenin kavramsal analizi ve üniversitenin özelliklerinin neler olduğu açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Siirt Üniversitesi'nin tarihsel gelişimi ve günümüzdeki durumu hakkındaki bilgiler sayesinde Siirt şehrine nasıl ve hangi alanda üniversitenin katkı sağladığı ortaya koyulmaktadır. dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to investigate what the social, cultural and economic contributions of Siirt University are to the city of Siirt by giving examples. In order to better understand the contributions that a university makes, as a first step the conceptual analysis of the university and the characteristics of the university are explained. Using the information about the historical development of Siirt University and its current situation, it is revealed how and in which areas the university has contributed to the city of Siirt. The University, directly and indirectly, contributes to the city of Siirt. Key words: Siirt Province, Siirt University, Social Contribution, Economic Contribution
