dc.description.abstract | In this study, the initial value problem for a telegraph equation in a Hilbert space is considered. The stability estimate for the solution of this problem is given. A first and a second order of approximation difference schemes approximately solving the initial value problem are presented. The stability estimates for the solution of these difference schemes are given. The theoretical statements for the solution of these difference schemes are supported by the results of numerical experiments. © 2014 AIP Publishing LLC. | |
