The aim of this study was to investigate the association of vitamin D deficiency patientswith other diagnoses. In this respect, a data set consisting of patients whose vitamin d levels have beenmeasured in a public hospital for the last 3 years has been provided. Using this data set, the associationrule analysis of data mining techniques was performed. Apriori algorithm was preferred in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, 22 association rules were determined and interpreted.Öğe DETERMINATION OF ANXIETY STATUS IN WOMEN WITH CHRONIC DISEASE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC(2022) Büyükbayram, Zeliha; Gül, Sidar; Özüdoğru, OsmanThis study was conducted to determine the anxiety status of women with chronic diseases during the coronavirus disease pandemic. This descriptive study was conducted in February-August 2021 within the internal medicine outpatient clinic of a training and research hospital located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. Individual Descriptive Questionnaire and Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory forms were used to collect data. The mean state anxiety score of the participants was 46.40±10.46, and the mean trait anxiety score was 49.56±9.33. The trait anxiety mean scores of the participants who have a good relationship with the family and whose health status was not affected during the pandemic was found to lower statistically significant (p<0.05). The trait anxiety mean scores of the participants who have poor economic status was found to higher statistically significant (p<0.05). It was determined that women with chronic diseases had moderate anxiety and were negatively affected by the pandemic process. In line with this information, it comes to the fore that women with chronic diseases need more psychosocial support due to their increased anxiety and they are a group that should be handled with care. It is recommended that more descriptive studies be carried out on this subject.Öğe Efficacy of Intravenous Iron Therapy in Female Patients with Iron Deficiency Anemia(2023) Güneş, Sevgi; Alayunt, Naci Ömer; Özüdoğru, OsmanIn this study, it was aimed to show the efficacy of intravenous (IV) ferric carboxymaltose treatment for iron deficiency anemia (IDA), which is a public health problem due to its high prevalence in the world and in Türkiye. Since it is the first study in the region, its importance is increasing even more. Eighty female diagnosed with IDA and treated with IV iron carboxymaltose, who applied to Siirt Training and Research Hospital Internal Diseases Polyclinics between June 2018 and September 2019, were included in the study. Biochemical data before and after treatment from the data recorded in the system of the patients who signed the consent form of Siirt University Research Hospital were included in the study retrospectively. After treatment, hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HTC), mean cell volume (MCV), ferritin, iron and B12 values increased statistically (p<0.05). In addition, platelet (PLT), total iron binding capacity (TIBC) and folate values were statistically significantly lower (p<0.05). Additionally, platelet (PLT), total iron binding capacity (TIBC) and folate values were statistically significantly lower (p<0.05). The study is important in terms of revealing the female IDA profile in the region and showing the positive results of IV iron therapy data. It is thought that the study can be a guide in finding solutions to irrational drug use, prolongation of the treatment period and high expenditures while creating IDA treatment protocols.Öğe First remarkable findings in comparison of patients in Siirt / Turkey in novel coronavirus(Covid-19) pandemic(2020) Alayunt, Naci Ömer; Özüdoğru, Osman; Yerlikaya, EmrahIn December 2019, a novel coronavirus (Covid-19) associated with human to human transmission and severe human infection has been recently reported from the city of Wuhan in China Hubei Province. This study is the first comparative study on pandemic Covid-19 in Siirt/Turkey. These prognostic parameters are important for a specific clinical diagnosis, which may contribute to reflect the evolution of CT findings and the severe course of the disease and the worst clinical picture.Öğe Immune plasma therapy in COVID-19 infection: the experience of Siirt(2021) Özüdoğru, Osman; Gungormez, Cigdem; Üyüklü, MehmetObjective: COVID-19 pandemic which is rapidly spreading in the world affects people in Turkey significantly. Results: It was observed that the use of mechanical ventilation was 47.82% before the immune plasma treatment, while this need decreased to 30.43% after 3 days. Nine out of 23 patients who received immune plasma therapy recovered by completing their treatment. Conclusion: Although the immune plasma applied on patients contributes to the recovery of patients, the evidence is yet insufficient.
