The metal to ligand ratio was 1 : 1. The Cu(II) complexes are proposed to be square planar and the Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes are proposed to be tetrahedral. The complexes are 1 : 2 electrolytes as shown by their molar conductivities (M) in DMF.
