On February 6, 2023, the Kahramanmaraş earthquake caused great loss of life and property in many cities, especially in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Malatya and Adıyaman. Within the scope of this study, the strategic plans of the municipalities of Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Malatya and Adıyaman, which are among the provinces most affected by the earthquake, are analysed in terms of disaster and earthquake. The strategic plans of the municipalities in these cities, which are located on the first-degree fault line, are comparatively analysed in terms of their awareness of disasters and their activities and projects on earthquake, which is one of the types of disasters.
