Sınıf öğrencilerinin görsel matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik algıları ve problem çözmeye yönelik yansıtıcı düşünme becerileri ile matematiksel yetkinlikleri arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmış ve belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda araştırmanın alt problemlerine yanıt aranmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılının güz döneminde Diyarbakır ilinin merkez ilçelerinde bulunan milli eğitim bakanlığına bağlı okullarda öğrenim gören ortaokul 8. Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise evrende bulunan okullar arasından uygun örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen ortaokulların 8. Sınıfında öğrenim görmekte olan 382 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak 'Görsel Matematik Okuryazarlığı Öz yeterlilik Algı Ölçeği', 'Matematiksel Yetkinlik Ölçeği' ve 'Problem Çözmeye Yönelik Yansıtıcı Düşünme Becerileri Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS 21.0 paket programı kullanılarak pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon analizi ve çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada yapılan pearson momentler korelasyon analizi sonucunda görsel matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik algıları ile problem çözmeye yönelik yansıtıcı düşünme becerileri arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Görsel matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik algıları ile matematiksel yetkinlikleri arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Problem çözmeye yönelik yansıtıcı düşünme becerileri ile matematiksel yetkinlikleri arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi sonucunda, görsel matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik algıları ve problem çözmeye yönelik yansıtıcı düşünme becerileri öğrencilerin matematiksel yetkinliklerini anlamlı bir şekilde yordadıkları bulunmuştur.In this research, the differences between 8th grade secondary school students' visual mathematics literacy self-efficacy perceptions and problem-solving-oriented thinking and comprehensive ones are examined. In the research, the relational scanning model, one of the good research methods, was used and answers were sought to the sub-problems in the intended learning. The population of the research consists of 8th grade secondary school students living in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the central districts of Diyarbakır province in the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The groups of the research consist of 382 students who are in the 8th grade of secondary schools selected by the convenient finger method among the schools in the universe. 'Visual Mathematics Literacy Self-Efficacy Perception Scale', 'Mathematical Competence Scale' and 'Reflective Thinking Skills Scale for Problem Solving' were used as data collection tools in the research. In the analysis of the data obtained within the scope of the research, Pearson moment collision expansion analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 21.0 package program. As a result, there is a moderately significant relationship problem between visual mathematics literacy self-efficacy perceptions and problem-solving-oriented perspective with positive aspects. There is a moderately significant positive relationship between visual mathematics literacy self-efficacy perceptions and knowledge. There is a moderately significant relationship between positive aspects and improvements in thinking about the way to go about the problem.
