Measuring and Controlling Water Quality in Real Time in Distribution Network. 8.th International Advanced Technologies Symposium (IATS’17), 19-21 October 2017, Elazığ, Turkey.https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12604/2648The fact that the monitoring and control of distant point workstations can be done from a single control center in the light of technological developments has an important place in all business areas. With the advancement of data communication technologies, remote point control and monitoring of systems has brought considerable ease and innovation in business life. He started to play an important role in the development of operation and future projections. In this sense, local measurements are transmitted to the monitoring and control center of the data in a certain scenario or on demand and it is very important to monitor and control the necessary measures, plans or future projections. In this sense, chlorine value, which is one of the measured parameters, is sufficient to have 0.2-0.5 ppm (mg / l) of residual chlorine (free or active chlorine) in the water presenting to the public use. If the chlorine is above these limit values, chlorination will be automatically reduced if chlorine pump unit is used, or the chlorine dosage can be automatically increased below these values. The water quality parameters that can be developed in a practical way are measured by the real time measurement system; pH, chlorine and turbidity values at the locus can be measured at desired periods. Instantly these measured values will be measured in real time, delivered to the relevant locations, and will generate an alarm signal in excess of the value. This study provides the system to automatically measure some water quality parameters and to generate an alarm in the event of such parameter outages or values, in order to ensure that the life source water which is a crucial factor in our life and is healthy in the life of the above mentioned technological developments. The water quality parameters required for the data to be monitored immediately in the control center were made for the development of the measuring device.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSystemSCADAWater Quality ParametersMeasuring and controlling water quality in real time in distribution networkConference Object21172122
