The Disguised Allowance case is one of the financial corruption cases brought before the Yassiada court after the May 27 military coup. The Disguised Allowance was the Prime Minister's initiative, which was to be spent in the interest of the state, and the expenditure information generated under this allowance had to be destroyed together with the receipts. However, the receipts were retained and not destroyed when the Democratic Party was in power. Hence, after May 27, the Supreme Court of Justice examined the receipts, which resulted in the Disguised Allowance case. The purpose of the lawsuit was the misuse of disguised allowance. The defendants in the case are Adnan Menderes, the then Prime Minister, and Ahmet Salih Korur, the Chief of the Premiership Private Secretary. Consequently, since it would be tough to deal with the whole case under a single framework, in this study the expenditures on the press and some government institutions are discussed. Although the essential allegations were presented in court with evidence, it was observed that the defendants responded to these allegations with various arguments, but they were not taken into account.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDisguised AllowanceYassiada CourtsIllegal ExpendituresAdnan MenderesPress and Official InstitutionsDisguised Allowance Case in Yassiada: The Expenditures on Press and Official InstitutionsYassıada’da Örtülü Ödenek Davası: Basın ve Resmî Kurumlara Yapılan HarcamalarArticle40251278N/AWOS:000853708600009504235Q42-s2.0-8516910182910.26650/YTA2021-946389
