Using a 2 wt.% KBH4 + 1 wt.% KOH solution, hydrogen generation rate was as high as 137423.9 mL* min-1 g-1at 30 0C, and apparent activation energy was calculated as 55.48 kJ*mol-1. Compared with similar Ru-based catalysts reported in literature, the Ru/TiO2 catalyst synthesized by chemical reduction method in this study indicates higher catalytic activity and lower apparent activation energy. © 2020, S.C.
