Surface morphology and structural properties of Zn-complex were investigated with XRD, FTIR, SEM, and BET analysis. The effects of different substrate concentration, effects of solution temperature, and effects of catalyst amount were studied for the hydrogen generation rate. Additionally kinetic parameters were studied. The activation energy was 22.978 kJ/mol and H-2 generation rates were calculated as 952.5 mmol H-2/g(cat). min and 614.4 mmol H-2/g(cat). min at 50 degrees C and 30 degrees C respectively for sodium borohydride hydrolysis reaction.
