Modern Türk şiirinin ilk dönemlerinde şairlerin biyografileriyle sıkı bir bağlantı içinde olan anne izleğinin tarihsel dönem içinde içeriği farklılaşmış, konuya çeşitli perspektiflerden yaklaşılmış böylece konunun sınırları çok katmanlı bir yapı kazanarak genişlemiştir. Anne konusu; 1980 öncesi Türk şiirinde anne-vatan ilişkisi, anne ölümü, anne rahmine dönüş arzusu, sosyal yaşamda annelik rolü, annenin ideal bir simge olması, çocukluk dönemiyle anılması gibi izleklerle yer bulur. 1980 sonrasında da bu izlekler devam ettirilir ve bu izleklere pek çok izlek daha eklenir. 1980 sonrasında anneyi feminist bilinçle ele alan şiirler artar. Annenin evrensel nitelikleri, toplumdaki temsiliyeti şiirde daha görünür hâle gelir. 80'li ve 90'lı yılların siyasal ve sosyal yaşantısının sonucu olarak dönemlere özgü anne izlekleri belirir. Bu tezde 1980 ve 2010 yıllarını kapsayan dönemde "anne" konusunun şiirde hangi izlekler çerçevesinde ele alındığı ortaya konmuştur. Anne mefhumunun psikolojik, mitolojik ve feminist temeline dair bilgilerden ve şairlerin şiir estetiğinden faydalanılarak bu şiirlerin tahlili yapılmıştır. Tahlil edilen şiirler içeriğe hakim olan duygu, düşünce ve olguya göre tasnif edilerek konu bütüncül bir yapıyla sunulmuştur.In modern Turkish poetry, the theme of mother has maintained its feature of being one of the basic themes in poetry from past to present. In the early periods of modern Turkish poetry, the theme of mother, which was closely connected with the biographies of poets, has changed its content throughout the historical period, the subject has been approached from various perspectives, thus the boundaries of the subject have expanded by gaining a multi-layered structure. In Turkish poetry before 1980, the theme of mother appears with themes like mother-homeland relationship, maternal death, the desire to return to the womb, motherhood in social life, mother as an ideal symbol, and being remembered with childhood. These themes are continued after 1980 and many more are added to these themes. After 1980, the number of poems that address mother with a feminist consciousness increases. The universal qualities of mother and her representation in society become more visible in poetry. As a result of the political and social life of the 80s and 90s, period-specific mother themes emerge. This thesis has revealed the themes within which the subject of "mother" was addressed in poetry between 1980 and 2010. These poems were analyzed by using information on the psychological, mythological and feminist basis of the concept of mother and the poets' poetic aesthetics.
