It aims at achieving sustainable economic development through environmentally friendly projects and using new technologies in the field of renewable and clean energies. It calls for greening existing industries, creating new sustainable industries and changing unsustainable patterns of consumption besides reducing the intensity of energy use, resource consumption, and production through waste recycling.
