Özet
Yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi alanı yurt içi ve yurt dışındaki Türkçe öğretim çalışmalarını dil öğretim merkezleri ve Türkçe ve Yabancı Dil Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezleri (TÖMER) tarafından yürütmektedir. Bu kurumlarda çalışan öğretmenler, Türkçe öğretim çalışmalarını çeşitli kaynak kitap ve materyallerle sürdürmektedir. Yurt içi ve yurt dışındaki kurumlarda en fazla kullanılan ders kitabının Yunus Emre Enstitüsü tarafından yayınlanan Yedi İklim Türkçe Öğretim Seti olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinde kullanılan Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretimi ders kitaplarındaki metinleri öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda incelemektir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için belirlenen yöntem, nitel araştırma modellerinden durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın durumunu "Yedi iklim Türkçe Öğretim Seti ders kitaplarındaki metinlere yönelik öğretmen görüşleri" oluşturmaktadır. İlgili durumu betimlemek için oluşturulan çalışma grubu; yurt içindeki TÖMER birimlerinde görev yapan 19 öğretmen ve yurt dışındaki Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinde görev yapan 10 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 29 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak mülakat tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler, Maxqda nitel analiz programı aracılığıyla içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Verilerden elde edilen bulgular araştırmanın alt problem durumları bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; Yedi iklim Türkçe Öğretim Seti ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin yapısal özelliklerine ilişkin olumlu, içerik özelliklerine ilişkin olumsuz yönde görüş bildirilmiştir. Metin içeriklerine yönelik olumsuz görüşlerin, dil bilgisi öğretimine ilgili değerlendirmelerden kaynaklandığı görülmektedir. Bununla birlikte öğretmenlerin ders kitabı kullanımında dil bilgisi öğretiminin zor olması, beceri öğretiminin yetersiz olması ve kitap odağının çoğunlukla öğretmen merkezli olması gibi durumlardan ötürü güçlüklerle karşılaştıkları tespit edilmiştir. Ders kitaplarının işlevselliğini artırmak amacıyla öğretmenler, kitap yapısına, içeriğine ve yabancılara Türkçe öğretim sürecine yönelik önerilerde bulunmuştur. The field of teaching Turkish to foreigners is carried out by language teaching centers and Turkish and Foreign Language Application and Research Centers (TÖMER) in Turkey and abroad. The teachers working in these institutions continue their Turkish teaching studies with various source books and materials. It is known that the most used course book in domestic and foreign institutions is the Seven Climate Turkish Teaching Set published by Yunus Emre Institute. The aim of this study is to examine the texts in the Turkish Teaching for Foreigners textbooks used in Turkish teaching centers in line with the opinions of the teachers. The method determined to achieve this aim is the case study, one of the qualitative research models. The state of the research consists of "Teachers' views on the texts in the Seven Climate Turkish Teaching Set textbooks". Working group created to describe the relevant situation; It consists of a total of 29 teachers, 19 teachers working in TÖMER units in Turkey and 10 teachers working in Turkish teaching centers abroad. Research data were collected by interview technique using a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis technique through the Maxqda qualitative analysis program. The findings obtained from the data were discussed in the context of the sub-problem situations of the research. As a result of the research; Positive opinions were expressed about the structural features of the texts in the Seven Climate Turkish Teaching Set coursebooks, and negative opinions about the content features. It is seen that the negative opinions about the text content stem from the evaluations related to grammar teaching. However, it has been determined that teachers encounter difficulties in the use of textbooks due to difficulties in teaching grammar, inadequate skill teaching, and the fact that the focus of the book is mostly teacher-centered. In order to increase the functionality of the textbooks, the teachers made suggestions regarding the book structure, content and the process of teaching Turkish to foreigners.
